On Wednesday, 28th April, 2021 on the floor of Senate, I moved the "motion on the urgent need for the rehabilitation of the Ikorodu-Sagamu road to further bridge the infrastructure gap and enhance economic growth in Nigeria.
I am glad to report that, as at today, 22km of the road has been completed, remaining about 8km to reach Sagamu.
In the company of officials from the Federal Ministry of Works and representatives of the contractor, Arab Contractors, I inspected the road reconstruction on Friday, 19th August, 2022.
This project among other laudable interventions I have prioritised under my 3-pillar agenda is geared towards providing greater good to a larger number of people.
